About the role
The ideal candidate would be skilled in machine/deep learning and have an affinity for statistics and biology.
- Develop, implement and optimise computational approaches for antibody sequence analysis, function prediction, and properties optimisation
- Design and develop machine learning models and algorithms to analyse large-scale antibody data sets
- Stay versed in the latest advancements in machine learning related to protein design and antibody discovery research
- Apply statistical analysis and data mining techniques to extract meaningful insights from experimental data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements and challenges in antibody discovery
- Present findings and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Bioinformatics, or a related field
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as PyTorch and scikit-learn
- Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modelling.
- Experience with protein language models and their applications is an advantage
- Familiarity with antibody discovery processes and immune repertoires is beneficial, but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Python
- Fluent in English
