ENPICOM welcomes experienced COO to strengthen operational processes
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Van Der Velde as our Chief Operating Officer and acting Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Paul has most recently served as CTO at The Sharing Group N.V. where he was responsible for development teams and architecture. In addition, he ran multiple projects to increase engineering quality, time to market and portfolio management.
Paul brings extensive experience in both technical and product management roles, which have enabled him to excel at building efficient teams to develop, market, and manage great products and services, as well as empowering product managers, product owners, and process managers to reach their goals. At ENPICOM, he will be heading our technical and operational activities to further improve our software development capabilities and strengthen our operational processes. As acting CTO, Paul will also function as internal mentor and coach to one of the senior engineers with the aim of preparing him for the CTO role in the future.

Paul received his master’s degree in Business Economics, from the University of Amsterdam, with a specialization in Finance. He started his career in product management in 2008 at KPN, a leading Dutch telecommunications company, where he moved up to the role of Senior Director of Product Management in just a few years. During his time there, he contributed to the strategic and in-depth development of each aspect of the product life cycle, including managing and growing portfolio P&L, product strategy, and team building.
