After almost six years of incredible work to further ENPICOM’s mission, company co-founder Jos Lunenberg is stepping down as Chief Executive Officer, handing the reins to Paul van der Velde.
“I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a talented and dedicated team at ENPICOM, and I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished,” said Jos. “I am confident that Paul is the right person to steer the next chapter of the company’s growth.”
During his time at ENPICOM, Jos has been a leader, mentor, and culture champion at the ENPICOM family, guiding and shaping our ongoing success as a team and business. As of April 2023, Jos has decided to continue his close association with ENPICOM as a Strategic Advisor to the Board.
Paul joined ENPICOM in June 2022 as the Chief Operating Officer and Acting Chief Technology Officer. Before that, he held various leadership positions at The Sharing Group and KPN. He has a strong track record of driving growth and innovation and is committed to delivering value to ENPICOM’s customers and stakeholders.
“I am honored to have been chosen to lead ENPICOM at this exciting time in the company’s history,” said Paul. “I look forward to working with the team to amplify the strong foundation set over the past years and to continue to create innovative solutions for our customers.”
Jos has been instrumental in guiding ENPICOM through its early stages of growth and establishing the company as a recognized leader in the bioinformatics industry. His vision and leadership will be greatly missed by the team, clients, and partners. But his passion for bringing meaningful, innovative solutions to advance human health to the market will be the legacy he leaves behind.
